See It and Read It, Clearly

Use clear containers for storage. Opaque and solid colored containers don’t allow you to see what you’re storing. I call them mystery boxes. The contents are easily forgotten and go unused. Translucent containers make your storage visible and therefore accessible.

Label your clear storage containers. Seeing and reading help you to create a mental image of what you have and where it is.
