It's a little strange looking and not the sleekest design. The clips on the sides are flimsily constructed and can break off. That aside, it's a great knife sharpener. The eight "fingers" are diamond coated which produce a razor sharp edge.
The official reviews are that this a user friendly blade sharpener that is poorly made. I have used a good number of sharpeners and either was not able to wield them or spent a long time getting minimal if mediocre results. Overall, it's a good product with effective results. The cost makes it a "why not?" My knives are sharper than ever.
